The furniture store Kohler in Erolzheim won the environmental award of the state Baden-Württemberg in the category retail. The specialists for “naturally furnishing” moved recently to the new building which is realized in an energy standard for passive houses. The sophisticated energy-concept of the architect Erwin Keck was basically for this award. The lighting concept of A.L.S. is a good example for energy-saving-solutions in the segment retail. But the building is a not only from the environmental point of view a highlight – it’s great architecture.
